Pilates for Menopause


Small group Pilates with a focus on the particular needs of the menopause stage of life.

Service Description

In these classes we will build and progress through Pilates exercises to improve our strength, mobilty, co-ordination, balance and our weight bearing ability. We will incorporate more movements that use multiple muscles groups simultaneously, using resistance to strengthen our whole bodies. Whatever your fitness levels this class will be adapted to meet your needs. If however, you are new to Pilates we would recommend you do the fundamentals/gentle course first. Pilates is the perfect mix of strength, mobility and stretch all in a low impact way. Some small props (mini ball, bands) will be used in some classes.
